WHO ARE WE?
New Horizons Band of York Region is a "Not For Profit Company" and as such we offer very affordable entry level music AND re-entry level music programs for Active ADULTS 25 to 100 years old.
Each class runs 2 hours with a short break on the hour.
Each semester is approximately 15 weeks long, for a total of about 30 lessons over the year.

What you will need to bring to class; a concert band musical instrument in good working order, a portable music stand, an "enthusiastic attitude to learn music and make new friends."
Local music stores, such as Cosmo Music of Richmond Hill or Long & McQuade can repair OR rent instruments at a reasonable student price as well as supply music stands, woodwind reeds and much more.

**Please Note** re TECHNIQUE BOOK Most classes use a technique book of specific instrumental techniques which the student will need to buy and bring to class weekly.
**Please Note** SHEET MUSIC All NHBYR members will receive sheet music for classes if or as needed, either as hard copy or through links to our NHBYR DropBox for personal printing. This is "at no extra charge" to members.

For enthusiastic, dedicated musicians who love to play music all NIGHT & all DAY and wish to join TWO BANDS the first band is $395 and the second band is half price $197.50 for a total of $592.50

A pro-rated refund minus a $30 administration fee will be considered if a member is unable to attend classes and mustdrop out before the end of the season.

HOW TO PAY FOR MEMBERSHIP
[1] One Band, One payment $395
[2] If One Band, split in Two equal payments, $395 + $20 admin fee = $415 divide by 2 = $207.50
[3] If Two Bands, One Payment $395 + half more $197.50 = $592.50
[4] If Two Bands, split in Two equal payments $592.50 + $20 admin fee = $612.50 divide by 2 = $306.25
